The FactUnion band
Checked before it airs.
A podcast cover with this band belongs to a show whose episodes are fact-checked by FactUnion before release.
What it means
- The factual claims in an episode, such as names, dates, numbers and quotes, are checked against published sources.
- A claim that does not hold up is corrected or cut before the episode is recorded.
- Opinions are never scored, and we take no side in politics.
- Paying never buys a result. The same rules apply to every show.
Story shows
Shows that tell invented stories carry a Fiction band instead, so listeners always know what they are hearing.
For podcast makers
We recommend keeping the band on your cover. It tells listeners, before they press play, that your show gets its facts right.
