  • Rounded up to the minute. A 22 minute 10 second episode uses 23 minutes. The smallest check uses 3 minutes.
  • Half price: 0.5 minutes for each minute of a corrected version (at least 2), within 12 months of the first check, for up to 3 checks of the same episode.
  • Very dense episodes: each minute covers up to 6 claims. If an episode has more, we pause and show you the extra cost (1 minute for every 4 extra claims) before checking them.
  • Free first minutes: 30 minutes, once per account and once per podcast or website, after you prove it is yours. A podcast needs at least 3 episodes, the oldest at least a month old.
  • Scripts: 150 words count as one minute (at least 3). The check of the final audio is included once, within 60 days. If 90 percent of its words match the script, only the changed lines are checked. If not, it is checked as a new episode, and the script check counts toward its price.
  • Free: appeals, and re-runs after a system fault.
  • Refunds: unused minutes can be refunded within 30 days of purchase. A low score is never refunded.
  • Length: episodes up to 240 minutes.

Questions

What if my score is low?

You pay the same either way, and it stays private unless you publish it. Your view shows which claims stand in the way. Fix them and check again for half price. Once a page is public, later checks of it become public 72 hours after they finish.

Do you check opinions?

No. Opinions, predictions and jokes are listed, never scored. We do not score opinions, and we take no side in politics. A factual claim about politics is checked the same way as any other claim.

Who pays you, and does it change the result?

The studio that sends an episode pays for its check. It never changes the result: the same published rules apply to everyone. How we stay fair.

Can I check someone else’s episode?

Yes. You get a private report that only you can see. It is not a FactUnion rating and cannot be published.
